Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

Show Off (展视 / 展視) is an on-device creative app by Kun Wang. It turns selected photos and videos into designed 3D showcase films and offers a separate Motion Studio for custom camera and device animation. This policy covers the current app and explains separately what happens when you visit this website or contact support.

2. Media and permissions

You choose the photos or videos to import through the system media picker. The app uses selected media locally for editing, screen placement, previews and rendering. It does not upload your media or edited text to a developer-operated server. Saving to Photos requests permission to add the exported result; it does not require full-library access. You may manage permissions in iOS Settings. Sharing or saving through other apps happens only when you choose a destination.

3. Local storage and deletion

Imported working files, generated exports, edited titles and captions, and preferences such as language may be stored in the app’s local container or preferences. The current app exports silent videos and does not include imported-video audio in the export. Deleting the app removes its local data according to iOS behavior; offloading the app may retain data. Copies saved in Photos, Files, other apps or backups must be managed separately. System backup and photo syncing depend on your Apple settings. We do not hold a server copy of your projects that we can retrieve or delete for you.

4. Accounts, tracking and diagnostics

The app does not require registration and does not include developer-operated analytics, advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking. We do not collect your contacts, location, advertising identifier or browsing history through the app, and do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Apple may provide app diagnostics or App Store reports under its own services and your settings; these are separate from developer-operated tracking.

5. Optional tips

Tips are voluntary, one-time consumable in-app purchases handled through Apple StoreKit. They are not subscriptions and do not unlock features. The app processes Apple’s transaction status and verification result to complete the purchase. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple handles payment information and purchase records under its privacy policy.

6. Website and support

These pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. Visiting them can disclose connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, to GitHub. We have not added advertising or analytics scripts to these pages. If you open a GitHub issue, your GitHub profile and the text or attachments you submit are visible to us and may be public. We use information you provide to respond to your request and investigate the reported problem. Please do not post private media, passwords, payment details or other sensitive information. GitHub’s handling and retention of website and issue data follow its privacy statement.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You control which media to import, what text to enter, whether to tip, and whether or where to share an export. For support information you have submitted, you can edit or delete your own GitHub content where GitHub permits, or contact us to request access, correction or removal of information we control. We handle requests subject to applicable law and platform limitations; public copies and GitHub records are not entirely under our control. No specific project-retention period is imposed by a developer server because the app has no project server.

8. Children and security

The app does not operate child accounts or intentionally request personal information from children. A parent or guardian can contact us about personal information submitted through support. Local processing reduces media transfer, but no device or storage method is completely secure. Keep your device protected and review exports before sharing them.

9. Updates and contact

We will update the date on this page when this policy changes. For privacy questions or requests, contact the developer through the official GitHub support channel. Start with a general request and do not include sensitive personal information in a public issue.
