Common Questions

Why does MockupVid need Photos access?

Only to let you select screen media and save completed images or videos. Selected media is processed on device.

Where are my rendered videos?

After rendering, tap the download icon to save the video to Photos. Previously rendered videos remain available in the export panel until removed.

Why does a long render take time?

MockupVid renders 3D geometry, reflections, lighting, screen media, and animation frame by frame. Higher resolutions, 60 fps, multiple phones, and video textures require more processing.

Does the app upload my screenshots?

No. MockupVid does not require a server upload for editing or rendering.

Are tips required?

No. All app features remain available. Tips are optional consumable purchases that support continued development.

How do I request an Apple purchase refund?

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund eligibility and requests are handled through Apple's official purchase support.

When Reporting an Issue

Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, MockupVid version, export format, number of phones, and clear reproduction steps. Do not attach private screenshots or recordings unless they are necessary and safe to share publicly.
